Taking part in the Eigen Huis (Ver)Bouwen + Inrichten fair
This fair at the Jaarbeurs attracted a high proportion of private visitors.
A large group of homeowners had brought their original construction drawings to discuss their structural plans with Siemelink.
It became clear that many homeowners have a fairly good idea of the structural consequences of vertical loads.
But almost all private visitors forgot the structural consequences of horizontal loads. For simple projects, the sizes for the renovation were calculated on the spot at the stand.
For other projects, we were able to indicate at the stand roughly what sizes to allow for.
A ten-minute chat took away a lot of uncertainty for homeowners.
The new options from the Internationale BouwBeurs 2013, held before this fair, were also incorporated into the renovation plans.
